Orientation Student Coordinators (OSC)

The OSC position is designed to offer students the opportunity to coordinate and implement various activities that lead up to and occur during Inbound, RISE, Illinipalooza, International Student Orientation, and Welcome Days/Fall Orientation program and various other orientation programs.

OSCs play a critical role in overseeing the development of a positive, inclusive, and spirited team dynamic for our 2022 Orientation Leader team!

All OSCs must be an OL for at least one year prior, in order to apply for the OSC position.

Orientation Leaders (OL)

The OL position is designed to offer students the opportunity to implement orientation programming for new students, transfer students, and family members. OLs are expected to be knowledgeable about the University of Illinois and have a desire to help new students have a successful transition.

OLs will enroll in an Orientation Leader Leadership course to develop as student leaders. OLs will assist at various events such as RISE, Inbound, Illinipalooza, International Student Orientation, and Fall Orientation/Welcome Days and various other orientation programs.
